location-near the interest areas in Madrid and steps by the night life
breakfast- poor. things finished and they(1guy..) used to took long time to replace it...if they replace it, because if it was 10h50 and you hadn`t milk, to bad...it would not be more.. Plus- the breakfast area looks like an adaptacion of a room-apartment, thus is very small for all, making people waiting outside for their turn....
The location, really near to the metro station and the centre of the city
The antipathy of the staff at the reception and the room could be more clean. Otherwise they gave us a room with a window without a view at a street, and if we open the blinds we could see everything in the room next to our. To me it's a place without a returning.
Location was fine. Very near metro, 15-20 min walk to Gran Via through lively streets with shops, cafes, bars. Staff were fine (although limited English). Room was large enough, bigger than some 3 or 4 star hotels I stayed in before.
Kitchenette facilities limited, basically a 2-ring hob. Breakfast poor, just tea/coffee,bread,croissant. Breakfast room very small, had to wait/queue 10 mins to be seated. Hot water for shower/wash limited at various times, sometimes just lukewarm. Window in room would not open fully as blocked by curtain rail. A/C did not seem to function. Whilst overall the stay was fine, expected more for price paid.
This hotel was very old and breakfast was poor
The rooms were spacious & well equipped including piping hot water for the bath and good kitchen for those days when you want to prepare your own meals. Location central & perfect for city exploring. Breakfast was also a nice option and staff super friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Great location! Good comfort. Not bad essentials.Next time right for staing...
really good location, by walk to downtown anywhere, close to the metro station, great connection with airposrt, nice spacious rooms, great variety of TV channels (like most "aprende ingles TV chanel"), fridge, good price. Really recommend.!
overpriced interned in lobby (1€/15min), poor breakfast,
it was really value for money, the kitchenette was very useful,we even cooked a few meals when we were tight on money, spotless clean ,and spacious, felt really safe and the location is close to metro, would recommend 100%
there was a lady upstairs continously running about in the room with high heels and was very disturbing especially when trying to sleep-the hotel has no fault in this, everything else was perfect
staff does not speak english, no english tv
Staff: Nobody speaks english...as usual :) Breakfast very very poor. Pastry, bread, jam, butter. juice, milk, coffee, tea. That's all. Every morning the same. The heating in the room was making humming noises. Ask for the room with a street view
Location, location, location! Excellent location. The best for people who only need it to sleep and have low expectations. Rooms were warm and fairly clean but very poor.
Old, poor and dirty looking. Breakfast room is so small that people need to wait outside for quite some time. Smell of food on corridors.
the reception speaks English well and can provide useful information, also kind. very clean
nothing worst. not really close to center, but walking distance to renfe station and 5~8 min walk to metro (3~5 stop to the main area)
Windows with no isulation against noise and wind, feeling that you were sleeping outside at the road, nobody speaking even a word of English, bad heating, bad breakfast in a small space, old furniture and doors, blankets with holes from cigaretes...If everything is full in Madrid one night is more than enough!
The localization is really good, the prize and the breakfast included
The clean of the room. The staff of the hotel don't change the towels in second night
Good location, only 15 min on foot to city centre
Breakfast too basic, poor choice of TV channels
